Today I would like to wish my honey, the farmer, a very happy birthday. He started his special day off by going to the dairy farm before the sun came up. After working there half the day he headed to the crop insurance office to fill out paper work. When he gets home he has to change the oil in the lawn mower and sharpen the blades. Then he gets to finish getting his dad’s fishing boat ready, including putting new lines in all the fishing poles. The boat may finally get used tomorrow!
Anyway, he probably won’t get to do anything fun to celebrate. He works crazy long hours so we can make a living and eat dairy products. I just wanted to take time today to say thanks! I appreciate all you do every day. Hopefully, you’ll get to squeeze some fun in before the second round of hay starts at the end of the week.
